Overlooking the emerald glacial Lake Louise and Fairmont Chateau luxury resort hotel, The Beehive bodes well for panoramic scenic seekers, but hikers must be prepared for the rigorous, full day ascent that peaks at an elevation of 2,270 metres (7,450 feet). The full round trip hike across the Big and Little Beehive trails-combined span 12 km (7.5 miles), with access to Lake Agnes, in addition to Lake Louise.
